Well, forty-five days until departure. We must sell our vehicles, empty our storage, stop all services and finish packing for our trip. Still have three jobs to complete prior to departure to Avalon on Catalina Island.

Once we are in Avalon, will start to consult with Mexico on required paperwork, insurance and fishing licenses. Each day is exciting, the thought of being free is rejuvenating.

This has been a dream since childhood, we are now living on Social Security and investments.

Exploring has always tantalized me. This should be the best years of our lives. I am not concerned with the ocean, my concern is the people’s and places we will travel to. The regulation for weapons are overwhelming, so we gave them up. I pray we are safe as we leave the United States.
